What is the Cyberduck tool?
Cyberduck is a free desktop application for MacOS and Windows which allows users to manage remote files for a wide variety of protocols including S3 compatible Object Storage.
Please follow the installation instructions described here. You will need the following information to install Cyberduck:
- access_key
- secret_key
- Contabo’s S3 URL
How do I configure Cyberduck with Contabo’s Object Storage?
- Create a new bookmark as shown below:
- Choose Amazon S3 as the type:
- Enter the following settings:
- In the field Server enter the Contabo’s S3 URL. Please make sure to enter without https://.
- In the field Access Key ID enter your access_key, e.g. 82046e8110804a43bf29c1ae426a724d.
- In the field Secret Access Key enter your secret_key, e.g. 82e69bd7a52076c527154297a76c2233.
