For additional instructions on using VNC with your VPS, refer to our tutorial <u><a href=\"https:\/\/contabo.com\/blog\/vnc-connect-vps\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u dir=\"ltr\">here<\/u><\/a><\/u>.\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Install anti-brute-force software<\/strong> &#8211; Recommended tools include <strong data-end=\"1251\" data-start=\"1241\">cPHulk<\/strong> and <strong data-end=\"1268\" data-start=\"1256\">Fail2ban<\/strong>, which help protect against repeated unauthorized login attempts.\n<\/li>\n<li><strong dir=\"ltr\">Use secure passwords for all logins on the server&nbsp;<\/strong>&#8211; Avoid common or easily guessed passwords and consider using a password manager to generate and store complex passwords.\n<\/li>\n<li><strong dir=\"ltr\">Be cautious with email and web activity&nbsp;<\/strong>&#8211; Do not click on suspicious links or download unknown attachments.
