In this guide, we&#8217;ll use Win-ACME, a tool that uses the ACME protocol to obtain SSL certificates from Let&#8217;s Encrypt.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li dir=\"ltr\"><strong>First you will need to install Win-ACME<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong> You can download the latest version of Win-ACME from the official <u><a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/win-acme\/win-acme\/releases\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\"><u>GitHub repository here<\/u><\/a><\/u>.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Next, <strong>extract the ZIP file to a directory on your server.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"Paragraph SCXW71323943 BCX2\" dir=\"ltr\">Open the Command Prompt as an Administrator and navigate to the directory where you extracted Win-ACME and <strong>run the following command<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<pre class=\"Paragraph SCXW71323943 BCX2\" dir=\"ltr\">cmd <br class=\"SCXW154318311 BCX2\">cd pathtowin-acme <br class=\"SCXW154318311 BCX2\">wacs.exe<\/pre>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"Paragraph SCXW81832871 BCX2\" dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Follow the prompts in Win-ACME to obtain your SSL certificate.<\/strong> Typically, you would choose to create a new certificate with bindings for IIS (Internet Information Services).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Win-ACME should automatically configure IIS to use the new certificate. <strong>However, if you need to do it manually, you can follow the steps here:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Open IIS Manager.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Select your site, and in the Actions pane, click on Bindings.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Add or edit the binding for https and select the newly installed SSL certificate.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\n<p><strong>Please note that Win-ACME sets up a scheduled task in Windows Task Scheduler to automatically renew your certificates.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span class=\"ast-load-more active\"><a href=\"https:\/\/help.contabo.com\/en\/support\/solutions\/articles\/103000312202-how-do-i-install-an-ssl-certificate-on-my-windows-server-using-let-s-encrypt-\" rel=\"nofollow\">Details&#8230;<\/a> <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How do I install an SSL certificate on my Windows server using Let&#8217;s Encrypt?
