Does Contabo offer Managed Serves? <\/strong><\/h4>\n

While we don’t offer fully managed servers, we do offer the “Managed Server” add-on. <\/strong><\/p>\n

This add-on grants you 2 hours of technical support per month, which you can use to ask the Contabo support team for help with any server management tasks you may have. <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Please note that this add-on can only be applied to one server at a time<\/strong>, so if you have more that one server, you will only be able to enjoy the benefits of this add-on with the servers for which you have purchased this add-on.<\/p>\n

How do I order the Managed Server add-on?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

  1. Login to the Customer Control Panel here<\/u><\/a><\/u>.<\/li>\n
  2. Click “Your services” from the blue “control panel” on the left hand side of the page.<\/li>\n
  3. Next click the “Manage” button next to the server you would like to order the Managed Server add-on for. A dropdown should open.<\/li>\n
  4. From the dropdown click “Order Add-On”. The following window should open:

  5. Click the option “Managed Server” as shown in the screenshot above and click the “OK” button at the bottom of the window. The following page should open with a description of the Managed Server add-on will appear:

  6. Click option A and then the “OK” button. <\/li>\n
  7. On the next page you will be shown the price for the Add-on, if you’re happy with the price click “Yes” and then the “OK” button. <\/li>\n
  8. On the next page the payment plan for the add-on will be described. If you’re happy with it click “Yes” and then the “OK” button. <\/li>\n
  9. Finally click the “Submit” button and your order will be sent and the price of the add-on will be deducted from your balance. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    How do I use the Managed Server add-on? <\/strong><\/h4>\n

    To use the Managed Server add-on you can raise a ticket with the customer support team via the <\/a><\/a><\/u><\/a>Customer Control Panel here<\/u><\/a>.<\/strong> Simply submit ticket to the team outlining your request and inform the support team that you have the Managed Server add-on. The support team will look into your request. <\/p>\n

    If the request will take longer than the 2 hours included with the Managed Server add-on the support team will provide you with a time and cost estimate for how long the request will take.<\/p>\n
