You can give access to buckets, files and folders to the public.<\/strong> For this, the you need to create a link to the file or folder in your storage to distribute and share it with the public. You can do this with the steps below:<\/p>\n

How do I share a Bucket with the public?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

To make a bucket accessible to the public you can create a link. To do this, follow these steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Log in to the Customer Control Panel<\/u><\/a><\/u>.<\/li>\n
  2. Click “Object Storage” from the blue “control panel” on the left hand side of the page.<\/li>\n
  3. Click the “Go to Object Storage Panel” and you will be taken to a new page.<\/li>\n
  4. Open the Bucket Overview (see image below):

  5. Click on the ‘Public Sharing’ icon \"xmlexample\"to open the menu for setting properties for public sharing:

  6. The “Make public” slider on top displays the currently selected public access to this storage. By sliding to the left the feature is deactivated, sliding to the right activates it.

    If the access is active, a public link to the bucket is automatically created and appears below. This link can be distributed and shared with the public. All public users can then access the bucket via this link.

    The status of a bucket’s public access can also be seen in bucket overview page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
