VPS and VDS without additional SSDs can be moved to another region upon request. You can start this process in your Customer Control Panel<\/u><\/a> <\/strong>by following the steps below.<\/p>\n

  1. Log in to the Customer Control Panel<\/u><\/a>.<\/u><\/li>\n
  2. Click “Your services” from the blue “control panel” section on the left hand side of the page.<\/li>\n
  3. Click the blue “Manage” button next to the server you want to move.<\/li>\n
  4. Click “Move to other Region” and a window will pop up asking you to choose the region you would like to move your server to.<\/li>\n
  5. Select the region you want to move your server to from the available list and click the “OK” button.<\/li>\n
  6. Click either the “Live Migration” or “New Deployment” button and then click OK. (If you’re not sure which option to select you can read the explanation of the two options here<\/a><\/u>.)<\/li>\n
  7. You will then be given details of the price for this process based on the options you have selected. If you’re happy with these click “Yes” and then click the “OK” button.<\/li>\n
  8. Confirm the order and you will be kept informed of the progress of this move by the support team.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Please note that <\/strong>it’s not possible to change the location of a dedicated server, <\/strong>this is because dedicated servers are bound to the Contabo datacenter where it was originally purchased.<\/p>\n
